Parking Options
The area around the campus will be very busy. We are expecting thousands of visitors to the campus and therefore planning how you get here is essential. See below options about Park & Ride and availability of car parks. Also consider using public transport, walking, or cycling.
Park & Ride
A Park and Ride service will run from UCC Pouladuff Park and Ride. The drop-off point is at the Boole Library gates to UCC on College Road. *See timetable below.
UCC Parking
There are two main Visitor Car Parks in UCC: Perrott’s Inch (off Western Road) and College Road (entry from Perrott Avenue). Other UCC car parks will also have the barrier up on the day, and depending on when you arrive, you may get a place there. It is very busy so best to avoid the perimeter of the campus, in a car, once the event starts at 10am. There is also a free car park at Dennehy's Cross Pres Rugby grounds available to visitors of the Open Day (capacity permitting).
Disabled visitors, with parking permits, can access parking spaces next to the Electrical Engineering building. Enter via the main College Road UCC entrance.
Check our ‘Where Can I Park?’ guide for more information.
Other Parking
Other than street parking, the closest alternative private car parks are in the St. Finbarr's Q-Park or the Sacred Heart Car Park.
