Career English one-to-one programmes 

We design our one-to-one programmes to meet your specific English language learning and communication goals. We recognise that you are an individual working in a specialised field who needs to achieve a high-level of competence in your use of English in your work setting. 

From the outset, we begin the process of establishing your particular English language needs. Working with our highly-experienced language coaches, we first identify your current level of English, and depending on the package you choose, we also work to identify the particular English language needs you have in relation to your learning goals. With your appointed language coach, we can negotiate your course content to ensure it meets your particular needs and objectives to aid you as you progress in your professional life. 

Throughout, we can give you personalised content, directly-related to your professional context. Tasks can be personalised and ongoing guidance and feedback will be tailor-made to ensure you maximise your learning potential, reach your objectives and be equipped with effective learning strategies and techniques to continue to improve independently post-course.  

We have three different packages available for individuals.  

From the outset, our approach allows for an in-depth establishing of your needs prior to the course commencement and throughout your language coach will provide personalised and targeted-to-specific needs content. On course completion, you will be given a bespoke ongoing plan for continuing your language development as well as a detailed report and certificate.  

We have flexibility in our delivery modes of lessons. We can deliver tuition fully online, at your company location or on our beautiful campus at the Language Centre at University College Cork. A blended approach, with delivery being online and as well as in-person is also possible.
