Mammography

Mammography

Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (Mammography) is designed to provide already qualified radiographers with comprehensive knowledge and advanced skills in the field of medical imaging and specifically, mammography. The Mammography pathway combines theoretical foundations with practical training, equipping students with a deep understanding of mammographic technology, image acquisition, and interpretation.

Through a blend of rigorous coursework, hands-on laboratory experiences, and clinical rotations, our mammography students develop expertise in mammographic imaging protocols, patient care, safety, and advanced diagnostic techniques. Graduates of this pathway emerge as competent and skilled professionals capable of applying their knowledge to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to advancements in the field of medical imaging.
