Postgraduate Research Presentation Day 2024
On 23rd May, the Department of Paediatrics & Child Health held its annual Postgraduate Research Presentation Day. The event featured guest speaker Mr. Adam Hardy from Pioneer Group, who shared insights on the commercialisation of clinical research. The day also celebrated student achievement with awards for the best early and late-stage research presentations.

We were honoured to welcome Mr. Adam Hardy from Pioneer Group as our guest speaker and judge. His keynote talk, "From PhD to CEO: The Pathway for Commercialisation of Clinical Research", offered an inspiring and insightful look into how academic research can translate into real-world impact through innovation and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Hardy also served as one of the judges for our student awards, recognising excellence in both Early Stage and Late Stage research presentations.
The event was a valuable opportunity for learning, discussion, and connection, enriching both students and staff through shared knowledge and feedback.
