This year's rankings saw 5,202 institutions analysed with 1,747 different higher education institutions across 148 countries making the final published listings. The rankings are based on a combination of different indicators relating to academic and employer reputation, and to research.
Welcoming the results UCC President Professor John O’Halloran said: “We are pleased that the hard work of all our staff has been recognised again by QS, in this set of World University Subject rankings.
The spread of subjects featuring across our all our colleges is very encouraging. Underpinned by our international reputation and research, these rankings are reflective of our ambition to maintain and improve UCC’s global position.”
