Project Title:
Bridging the LEAP2 obesity: A mechanistic exploration of a novel gut-brain pathway at the interface of eating behaviour and stress.
Project Objectives:
Explore the role of the gut microbiome for LEAP2 signalling, and how LEAP2 in turn affects the neurobiological mechanisms that control eating behaviours, specifically stress- and depression-induced eating behaviours.

Sustainable development goal 3 for non-communicable diseases specifically SDG 3.4
