The Student Clinical Therapies Society raised €730 during their Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Awareness Day Bake Sale in October and has donated the funds to the local Greenmount Language Class. The donation will support art therapy and mural painting activities in the school garden. Chairperson Caoimhe McGovern presented the symbolic cheque as part of the initiative to raise awareness of DLD, a lifelong condition affecting two children in every classroom.
