University College Cork and Walker Hearing Clinics have established Ireland’s first PhD Scholarship in Audiology and Hearing Sciences through a philanthropic gift aimed at advancing research, education, and clinical practice in hearing health, with a focus on improving outcomes for individuals affected by hearing loss and cognitive decline.

We are pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated Occupational Therapy Rheumatology Clinic at Brookfield Health Sciences, developed in collaboration with the Cork University Hospital (CUH) Occupational Therapy Department. 

Congratulations to Dr. Eithne Hunt, who has been awarded funding from the Higher Education Authority (HEA) to further develop and implement her innovative Every Day Matters: Healthy Habits for University Life programme. 

University College Cork is proud to announce the commencement of a new tertiary degree pathway in September 2025. This innovative programme is designed to expand access to higher education, offering students flexible and inclusive routes to earning a university degree.
