UCC Student Maria D’jalma Torres Sanchez is one of a seven-member ‘Civic Engagement Futures’ group who presented proposals at the recent Talloires Network Leaders Conference and call for de-colonialised and 'evidence-based' civic engagement to be recognised as a core element in university education.
