Critical Social Thinking Symposium

Critical Social Thinking Slam

Postgraduate researchers and conference contributors are called to introduce their research in a Slam Presentation series to a small supportive peer audience.  This series gives researchers the opportunity to hear the work and experiences of other postgraduates from across Ireland in thematic sessions. Each contributor is invited to: 

either

a) Pecha Kucha: Sketch your work in a presentation - a 20×20 presentation containing 20 slides, with each slide shown for 20 seconds, for a presentation of exactly 6 minutes, 40 seconds. 

or

b) Poster: Outline your research in a five minute presentation using an academic poster as a visual aid.  

 

Symposium participants are welcomed and strongly encouraged to participate in the conference, which will be held the following day (23rd January).  Here, participants are invited to present their research in a more traditional conference setting and may choose to publish their papers in the .
