ABCRF PI to represent Ireland
Dr Stuart Collins, a PI in the ABCRF has been nominated to represent Ireland that this years EuCheMS Organic Division Young Investigator's Workshop
Dr. Stuart Collins, a PI here in the ABCRF and staff of Chemistry Dept. has been successful in his application to be nominated by EuCheMS Division of Organic Chemistry in Ireland and will represent Ireland at the upcoming EuCheMS Organic Division Young Investigator's Workshop which will be held in Liblice, CZ, July 16-18, 2009.
In 2007, EUCHEMs Organic Division was founded with participation from 22 member societies. The Organic Division is responsible for coordinating activities in Organic chemistry on a European level. One of the OD's charter activities is to found a yearly Europe-wide workshop for young investigators in Organic chemistry. This event will be held every year, closely associated to an ECC or ESOC/ESOR event. There will be approx. 30 young investigators represented from all over Europe and also a number of senior PI’s attending the workshop in a mentoring role.
