British Soldier Private Thomas Cooper (aged about 21) of the Royal Engineers (Bere Island)

Note: Private Thomas Cooper, a sapper in the Royal Engineers, fractured his skull on 19 November 1922 and died 28 hours later on Bere Island of a haemorrhage causing compression of the brain. See Death Certificate, 20 Nov. 1922. He was apparently the victim of an accident
