NOTE:

  • Students can continue to register for and attend all of these courses (except for the Gateway programme) throughout the summer months.
  • Study & Work programme is an 8-month programme with 25 weeks of tuition.

Summer Programme 2026

15 June – 21 August 2026

Students can continue their Academic English, English for Work and Life (General English) and Study & Work programmes throughout the summer.
New students can register to begin an Academic English, English for Work and Life (General English), English for Exams or a Business & Professional English course during the Summer School. 
All courses, with the exception of the Business & Professional English programme, can be started any Monday and taken for a minimum of two weeks up to ten weeks during the summer school.  
There is an option for you to continue your studies on our Academic English and English for Work and Life (General English) courses into our next academic year if you wish to do so.
The Business & Professional English programme runs between 29 June and 24 July 2026 only.  Students have the option to register for one, two, three or four weeks during these dates.  If a student wishes to stay longer they can switch to another of our Summer School courses best suited to their level of English.

How to Pay

Visa dependent students must pay their fees via TransferMate.  TransferMate offers a fast and secure way to send funds to institutions globally, giving you the best exchange rate on your payment. The easiest, safest way to pay course fees is by  Transfermate.
If paying your fees by Bank Transfer, please contact infolang@ucc.ie with details of your booking with us and you will be sent details of our bank account.  All bank charges will need to be paid by the student.
Fees may also be paid by Credit Card  
Credit cards are accepted if paying in person at the main Language Centre Office, G.36 Ground Floor O'Rahilly Building, University College Cork, Cork.
In some circumstances it may be possible to accept payment by card over the phone.

Terms and Conditions

  • Students must register and pay in full before attending classes, as places are allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
  • Courses will run only if minimum numbers are met to form a group.
  • If minimum numbers are not met to form a group we reserve the right to transfer students to another course or combination of courses, which would be compatible with their English level on entry.  If no courses are available to match a student's level on entry then a full refund will be given.
  • A full refund will be given in the unlikely event of a class not forming.
