UCC hosts Education & Student Affairs managers from Erasmus University Rotterdam

The Deputy President and Registrar's office, University College Cork, played host to a visiting group of managers from the Education & Student Affairs unit of Erasmus University Rotterdam on October 14th to 15th, 2024. 

The Deputy President and Registrar Prof. Stephen Byrne welcomed the colleagues: Lilian Jillissen, Joop Matthijsse, Stella Verbrugge, Eelke Menno de Jong, and Martine Wierenga.

The visitors had a packed two days full of discussions with colleagues from across UCC, covering topics ranging from the Irish education system, admissions and access, to student life, student engagement and the UCC Support Tree, to the examination process, skills development, micro-credentials and projects and achievements in sustainability and climate action.

Martine Wierenga wrote on LinkedIn that the visit provided plenty of food for thought and inspiration to the group.
