Body Parts for Peace: a UNIC workshop

'Body Parts for Peace' is a workshop delivered to 50 participants of the Hidden Cities UNIC Blended Intensive Programme at University College Cork, 3 December 2025.

Cities: maximally public, collective, anonymous. 

Our bodies: maximally private, intimate, identified.

Cities + our bodies: maximum tension.

Yet, body parts, and more specifically genitals, are some of the most common forms of grafiti in public spaces. 
How do we manage this tension? Can we understand it and tame it through making and curating? What do we learn about sharing a common space, safety, consent, awkwardness, and vandalism with our own hands and a bit of modelling clay?
