Several members of UCC Ornithology Group attended the inaugural meeting of the Irish Ecological Association held in Sligo on 24-26 November 2016. There were 150 attendees, 47 talks and 45 posters at the conference. Congratulations to
DarÃo Fernández-Bellon for winning the best short talk prize. Maria Gharagkouni and Rosalyn Thompson, both from UCC School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, won two of the other three prizes for best posters. Read about the conference
