NPEC Study Day 2027

The NPEC Study Day 2027 will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, students, service users and other stakeholders to share evidence, experiences, innovations and learning that can inform and improve care throughout the maternity journey.
Abstract Call
We invite abstract submissions for oral and digital poster presentations at our forthcoming NPEC Study Day, “Evidence and Learning from Care Before, During and After Birth,” taking place in Galway.
We welcome submissions that showcase research, clinical practice, quality improvement, service evaluation, education, innovation and lived experience. We are particularly interested in work that translates evidence into practice, shares meaningful learning and contributes to safe, effective, equitable and compassionate care for women, babies and families.
Important Dates:
- NPEC Study Day: Friday, 15th January 2027
- Abstract call opening: Friday, 16th October 2026
- Abstract submission deadline: Friday, 27th November 2026
- Abstract notification of acceptance: Friday, 4th December 2026
- Digital poster and oral presentation submission deadline: Friday, 18th December 2026
All abstracts will be reviewed by the organising committee for relevance to the study day theme, clarity, quality and potential contribution to practice and learning.
