Courses at UCC

Students can only select modules from the Book of Modules for Visiting Students:

Modules= class/courses

For incoming study abroad students, allocation to specific modules cannot be guaranteed. Module availability may depend on factors such as timetable constraints, capacity limits, and academic prerequisites. We therefore encourage students to remain flexible in their module choices and to consider a range of suitable alternatives.

Modules marked as needing departmental approval on the module description:

  • This process will be completed by the International Office at time of module selection.
  • Your academic transcript and module request will be sent to the relevant department for review.
  • You must have an academic background (studied classes) in that area to support your request.

Students planning on graduating early or needing very specific classes:

  • Entry into classes is not guaranteed so please do not rely on taking them at UCC

Syllabus:
The International Office does not have access to the syllabus for each module.

  • You will need to contact the lecturer directly or wait until they release it at the start of classes.
  • Please note, the module description in the Book of modules may have to be sufficient.
