Leviathan: Album Launch
Dr. Stephen Roddy launched his new album, Leviathan, with a performance and discussion at the Radical Humanities Laboratory.
Recorded in the summer of 2023 and released on Fiadh Productions the collection encompasses five pieces exploring themes of climate emergency and collapse.
A discussion of the the themes and construction of the work was followed be a performance knitting together disparate themes from across the release.
Leviathan is described in the experimental music press as "an immersive, meditative experience—one that pulls you under like a gentle tide and doesn't let go" by Igloo Magazine an as a "brooding and beautifully unsettling batch of dark ambient songs.” by Bandcamp New and Notable.
