Embrace your relationship to Ireland's trees through an afternoon program featuring Macdara Ó Faoláin and Victoria Adiiye.
Please note: This event is currently sold out but you can join the waiting list here.
The Treenote Sessions brings together University College Cork’s Arboretum and Department of Music for an afternoon where Ireland’s trees take centre stage. Featuring Macdara Ó Faoláin and Victoria Adiiye, the event blends traditional music, plant science, and anthropology to explore our personal relationships with Irish woodlands. Produced in partnership with UCC's Green Campus Network and Environmental Society, we mark the beginning of Green Week 2026 with a community celebration featuring additional musicians from UCC's Traditional Music Society.
Join us in the Aula Maxima at 3 p.m. on Sunday, 22 March 2026 for this 90-minute program, followed by a guided tour of the Arboretum grounds. The Treenote Sessions is proudly supported by the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts.
