10/11/12 Pecs, Hungary - WG3: Review ROS/Antioxidant Protocols

The Review ROS/Antioxidant Protocols meeting took place at the University of Pécs, South/West Hungary on the 10th of November, which was a sunny autumn day. Participants, however, spent most of the day indoors and enjoyed only a short walk in the Botanical Garden of the university before lunch.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss good practice in various antioxidant and radical measurement techniques relevant to UV research. A summary of techniques, merits, disadvantages and possible pitfalls will be published as a review.

The manuscript will be finalised at a second meeting and is planned to be submitted for publication before the end of COST year-3. Half of the team is an ESR (all PhD students) who will be active in writing sections either alone or paired with more experience researchers.
