Research and Activities in Translation Studies

Translation Studies is a dynamic and growing area of study at UCC, which has generated much research and activity in the past few years. Among other things, the Centre for Advanced Studies in Languages and Cultures (CASiLaC) is home to the Cluster in Translation and Creative Practice, focused on the interconnections of creation and creativity and translation. The cluster also hosts postgraduate research group Project DaRT, which aims to create a dynamic community of translation enthusiasts by reflecting on the application of theory to research in a supportive, open space.
