Visiting delegation from Jagiellonian Univ. Krakow, Poland
The Quality Promotion Unit recently hosted the HaZarD delegation, a visiting group from the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland. The main purpose of the visit was to learn about the Quality Assurance system and implementation of Learning Outcome-based study programmes in the domain of health sciencen in UCC. During their visit to the Cork University, the 5-member delegation met with UCC staff who delivered presentations on Learning Outcomes, Quality Assurance, Careers, Nursing and Midwifery, Physiology and Public Health. The group was also given tours of the various laboratories and facilities in Biosciences, Physiology, Nursing and Midwifery. The group comprised the following 5 x staff members from the Jagiellonian University:
