Tuatha Dé Danann Conference
The bilingual conference Tuatha Dé Danann took place in the Creative Zone in UCC Library on the 14-15 April 2023.
Many aspects of the Tuatha Dé were discussed drawing on a wide selection of sources ranging from the earliest references to contemporary literature. The conference was opened by Professor Stephen Byrne and the acclaimed writer Rick Riordan was present as a special guest.

The conference speakers were: Ruairí Ó hUiginn, Síle Ní Mhurchú, Ríona Ní Churtáin, Marie-Luise Theuerkauf, Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh, Greg Toner, Ríonach Uí Ógáin, Pádraig Ó Macháin, Máire Ní Annracháin, Bernhard Maier, Diarmuid Johnson and John Carey.
