I have spent time studying in University College Cork, in Université Charles de Gaulle (Lille III), France, in NUI Galway where I wrote my doctoral thesis on Agallamh Oisín agus Phádraig and in the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies as a post-doctoral scholar. I am course co-ordinator of the MA in Irish and European Law.
Research interests
The Ossianic lays, the Finn Cycle (an fhiannaíocht), Irish love poetry (na dánta grá), Irish manuscripts, textual editing.
I was involved in the organisation of the Second International Finn Cycle Conference held at the University of Glasgow on 11-12 August 2014 and the Symposium on the Dánta Grádha held at the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies on 17 September 2016.
I am currently preparing an edition of Agallamh Oisín agus Phádraig and writing a number of articles on the dánta grá and on fiannaíocht texts.
