Stage adaptation of Caoineadh Airt Uí Laoghaire at UCC

A stage adaptation of Caoineadh Airt Uí Laoghaire was performed in An Seomra Caidrimh recently. This adaptation was made by Áine Uí Chuill who also played the part of Eibhlín Dubh Ní Chonaill, with musical accompaniment on the tin whistle by Gormfhlaith Ní Shíocháin Ní Bheoláin. 

The performance was recorded professionally as a resource for students of the Department of Modern Irish. Dr Seán Ua Súilleabháin organised this special event. Thanks are also due to Declan O’Connell, WildAcre Productions, Seán Ó Laoi, Ionad na Gaeilge Labhartha, and An Cumann Drámaíochta.
