UCC Students and Staff are taking part in the Dragon of Shandon Parade this Halloween.  

Dr. Marie Kelly (School of Music and Theatre) will present a paper on Gender, representation and the Irish stage:  theatre casting, space and object at the CACSSS masterclass series on Women, Place and Space on Friday 17^thNovember. 

Youth Theatre, Contemporary Dance for Beginners and Adult Acting (Intro and Advanced) are now Open for Sign Up. Learn new skills, meet new people and have fun in challenging, creative safe evniroment. 

Prof. Manfred Schewe has been invited to give a keynote lecture and lead eight workshop sessions as part of English Week (12-17 November 2017), organized by the International Forum for Steiner/Waldorf Education in Odenthal-Altenberg, near Cologne. During this week teachers will be able to participate in a wide range of drama-based workshops. Artist in Residence Danielle McLaughlin, winner of the Windham-Campbell Prize for fiction and of the Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award, has been working on the themes of happiness and hope in short stories in her UCC Creative workshop.

UCC Creative is delighted to announce a series of short artist residencies during the first semester, with free workshops open to staff and students at UCC and public presentations. All events online. 

The year 2020 saw the world's radical response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. While our buildings were shutting down, our students were ramping up for project submission. From a pool of over 250 media projects submitted during the pandemic, HERE is a short selection of the fantastic work created by the students of UCC's BA in Film & Screen Media 2020.
