The class of 2018-9 graduated today with a Master's degree in Film and Screen Media, at a Conferring ceremony at which at Keynote was delivered by journalist and broadcaster, Nadine O'Regan.

You are cordially invited to a screening of Persepolis (Marjane Satrapi, Iran, 2007, 96 min) that will be held in the Film and Screen Media Auditorium, Kane Building on Thursday, 27 February at 5 p.m.

This presentation traces the turbulent history and dynamics of queer visibility in the Irish media to explore the processes by which a regionally based media system shaped queer identities within a highly conservative and religious population.
