2025 Senior Summer Camp
Age: 15-18 year olds
Course Contents: Advanced Python Programming
This programme is designed for students aged 15 to 18 who have a strong interest in programming, some prior experience with Python - such as through MPT Senior or CoderDojo—and a good aptitude for mathematics.
The course offers training in more advanced topics in Python and introduces students to AI modelling. The content is more advanced than material covered in the Junior camp, and may serve as useful preparation for those considering Computer Science for the Leaving Certificate or future third-level studies.
2025 Kiddo Summer Camp
Age: 11-12 year olds
New to Summer Camps

Course Contents: Python Programming & Minecraft Gaming
- This programme is designed for fifth and sixth-class primary school pupils who have an interest in technology, puzzles, and solving logical problems. They should be enthusiastic about learning how games and applications are programmed.
- Students are not required to have any prior knowledge of computer programming as classes will start at a fundamental level.
- Minecraft Programming is mainly about learning the usage of Python in a Minecraft Game context. Students will learn how to create mini-games in Minecraft using Python code. Concepts of game scene-setting, user interaction, gameplay, score system, player and enemy spawn will be delivered through the course.
Kiddo runs from Monday June 30 to Friday July 4
Please note: Kiddo runs on a separate week to the other summer camps to accommodate primary school students. We ask that you adhere to your child’s correct age group.
2025 Junior Summer Camp
Age: 12-14 year olds
Course Contents: Python Programming & Minecraft Gaming
- This camp is ideal for 12 to 16-year-olds who have an interest in computers and problem solving.
- Prior coding knowledge is not required.
- Minecraft Programming is mainly about learning the usage of Python in a Minecraft Game context. Students will learn how to create mini-games in Minecraft using Python code. Concepts of game scene-setting, user interaction, gameplay, score system, player and enemy spawn will be delivered through the course.
