Research Collaboration

Companies can partner with our world-renowned academics to develop bespoke research projects, that can deliver impactful results for your company. Sponsoring PhD students and/or Post-Doctoral researchers can provide invaluable insights into how innovations can be delivered for your company.

 There are many schemes through Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and other government agencies to support your R&D.

Student Internship / Placement and Open Days

We currently have approximately 125 partner companies who employ our students on work placement (March - September). Employers can advertise internship opportunities on the UCC careers website and noticeboards free of charge for a period of 4 weeks.

Companies are invited to attend our Final Year Project Open Day in March/April each year.

Prizes and Sponsorships

Sponsoring student prizes is a valuable way to acknowledge outstanding student achievement, eg. final year project, best paper, entrepreneurship.

Other Forms of Engagement

Other forms of engagement are very welcome, eg. advisory boards, guest lecturing, sponsorship of labs, or donations. We are very happy to meet with you if you would like to engage with our School.
