Professors Justin Holmes and John Wenger were honoured for their 25 years of service at UCC's 36^th Annual Long Service Awards.

Last week, Dr Niamh O’Mahoney received a UCC President's Award for Excellence in Teaching at a ceremony in the Aula Maxima.

The STEM South West Expo 2024 took place this week in Cork City Hall.

In a spirited twist on education, the School of Chemistry hosted a unique Halloween-themed workshop called "Green Chemistry: A Halloween Special."

The School congratulates recent awardees of prestigious Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland awards to support their research in Chemistry at UCC.

The Staff Recognition Awards were held on Wednesday evening, 23^rd October 2024 in the Aula Max. These awards are presented to both individuals and Teams, acknowledging their outstanding dedication and commitment to University life and to the wider community.

Now in its 22nd year, the Eli Lilly Postgraduate Research Symposium in Organic & Pharmaceutical Chemistry took place on Friday 18^th October in the Pharmacy building, UCC.

The 12th George Guilbault Symposium was hosted in the Aula Maxima in University College Cork on Thursday 17th October 2024. This event brought together industry, academia and analytical chemistry postgraduate students.
