Two teams from UCC and Tyndall National Institute have been selected as finalists for the SFI Future Innovator Prize, with each of the teams vying for €1 million in research funding.

Consultation arrangements for students who failed Chemistry Modules during the 2018/19 academic year, will take place in the School of Chemistry on Friday, June 14th, 10.00am – 12.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm.

The viewing of examination scripts will take place in the School of Chemistry, Second Floor, Room 224, on Friday June 14th, 10.00am – 12.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm.

The 2019 Salters' Festival of Chemistry took place in UCC today. Thanks to all schools, students and teachers for taking part and congratulations to this year's winners.

This afternoon, four of our undergraduate students were honoured as SEFS Quercus scholars, based on their academic results in 2017/18.

Annual undergraduate prizes in Chemistry were awarded yesterday to a number of students. The ceremony took place in the Aula Maxima.

With five teams to be shortlisted in April of this year, an overall winning team will be announced in December and receive a prize award of €1 million, providing the opportunity to implement an innovative solution with potential to deliver significant impact to Irish society.
