As today marks International Women’s Day, we meet an inspirational woman who was one of the first Thai students to study at UCC - Prof. Sujitra Youngme, Khon Kaen University.

The Department of Chemistry has recently been given professional accreditation by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) for its B.Sc. (Honours) degrees in Chemistry and Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds (CPC). 

Congratulations to Chemistry Departmental staff member Johnny Ryan who was recently presented with an award for achieving 100 Blood donatons to the Irish blood Transfusion Service.
