The 1^st Annual George Guilbault Symposium was hosted at Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork, Ireland on the 11^th and 12^th September 2014.

Professor Martyn Pemble has been selected as Runner-Up of the 2014 College of SEFS Student Nominated Lecturer Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (from over 90 nominations across the College).

Tyndall Ph.D. candidate and Clonakilty native, Lisa Helen, has been celebrated with two prestigious awards for her research on tissue bioimpedance using a macro-needle.
