O' Rahilly Building Extension and Quadrangle
O'Rahilly Building Extension and Quadrangle
The O'Rahilly Building was one of the major developments on campus in the 1990s. The O'Rahilly (Humanities) Building Phase I was completed in 1998 and the O'Rahilly Building Phase II was completed in 2000.
The building is a major addition to the quantum of academic space in the College and is arguably the most significant addition to the College building stock in recent years. It substantially completes the south east corner of the main Campus. The O'Rahilly building is located on the site of the old Honan Hostel and has been carefully designed to compliment the architecture of the white limestone Quadrangle.
