New Study Site for EVOECOCOG Project

The installation of nest-boxes in Killarney National Park has just finished! Great Tits and other small cavity-nesting birds now have 400 nest-boxes available for breeding and roosting over an area of 250 hectares in the surroundings of Muckross House, which has become the largest study site within the EVOECOCOG project! We want to thank Frank McMahon, Gerry Murphy, the rangers (Kathryn and Brendan) and the rest of NPWS staff at Killarney National park for facilitating our work these last weeks, and for their help and support during this initial stage of the project.   Collage Killarney
