Welcoming Madison Curran to the HIRH team.

Madison Curran has joined the Health Implementation Research Hub (HIRH) as a research assistant.
Madison recently completed the Master of Public Health (MPH) programme at University College Cork (UCC), having submitted her dissertation at the beginning of September. Her research focused on a quantitative study examining childhood obesity and its association with socioeconomic status indicators throughout early and later childhood.
Prior to undertaking the MPH, Madison completed a dual bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Forensic Science and Anthropology in her home country, Canada. Over the summer, she worked with the HIRH as a student researcher, primarily under the supervision of Dr. Aoife O’Mahony on the HPV Vaccine Project. She greatly valued the experience, appreciating both the work she contributed and the knowledge she gained.
