APC and UCC sweep all Top 7 positions in Irish microbiologist rankings

Paul Ross, Colin Hill and Catherine Stanton ranked 1-2-3 respectively by Research.com

In its annual ranking of international scientists Research.com has scored seven APC and UCC scientists in the top ten list of Irish microbiologists.  APC Director Paul Ross who was ranked first in Ireland and 25th globally, was also the recipient of Research.com’s Microbiology Leader Award for 2023.

Also included in the top 10 are APC’s Colin Hill, Catherine Stanton, Douwe van Sinderen, Paul Cotter Paul O’ Toole, and UCC’s Gerard Fitzgerald -see  full list here

The rankings are based on a D-index (Discipline H-index) metric of scientists with at least 40 academic publications in the area of microbiology.
