As part of your on-campus orientation, your Peer Support Leader will take you on a tour of campus. You will also tour the library and find out where your lectures will be held. You do not need to sign up for these tours in advance as they are scheduled during orientation.
You can also check out our virtual tours below for specific information on the buildings you will most likely be in for your course.
Want to explore on your own? Check out UCC’s Looped Walks or visit our Arboretum.
Be prepared for college life by booking accommodation in advance of arrival. Have a look through the Student Accommodation Advice | University College Cork (ucc.ie) video and prepare early.
Although EU students complete orientation and registration with their Irish classmates and are treated the same for fees, there may be some aspects of moving to Cork that you have more in common with International (non-EU) students. They have a list of resources and information on their Student Support Information pages that could be very useful!
UCC Green Campus
Our green campus initiative was started by a group of UCC student activists in 2007. In 2010 UCC became the first university in the world to be awarded a Green Flag from the Foundation for Environmental Education.
You can learn more about UCC and sustainability at the Green Campus website.
