Governance Structure
There is a clear governance structure in place for the management of SIREN. Work is co-ordinated by the Principal Investigator, Professor John Browne of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, University College Cork. Professor Browne is the Chair of the Programme Management Committee which is comprised of co-applicants and other core researchers. The Programme Steering Group, composed of key stakeholders and constituents, is chaired by Professor John Higgins, College of Medicine and Health, University College Cork. The Scientific Advisory Group is composed of international experts in emergency and urgent care and is chaired by Professor Jon Nicholl, School of Health and Related Research, University of Sheffield.
Programme Management Committee
The Programme Management Committee is chaired by the Principal Investigator, Professor John Browne, University College Cork. The role of this committee is to oversee the delivery of the whole research programme and to optimise integration and collaboration between the six work packages.
