This year’s recipients of the Joe Gantly Prize in Engineering have been announced, recognising outstanding performance in the Work Placement module across the ME (Hons) programmes at University College Cork.

Professor Marcel Jansen, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, University College Cork (UCC), has been awarded the prestigious title of “Doctor et Professor Honoris Causa” by the University of Pécs, Hungary.
