Experience the natural world at UCC’s School of BEES fun-filled family-friendly event.

Cumann Bheachairí Mhúscraí was established in Baile Bhúirne in February 2017. They have 22 active members, under the guidance of their advisor, Dr. Pádraig Whelan (School of BEES, UCC).

The International Association for Plant Biotechnology Congress, organised by BEES academics, will take place in in Ireland for the first time in 2018 and attract over 1,000 scientists.

On Friday, 4^th August, the School of BEES hosted a visiting group of academics from the Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities (IMUN), China.

There has been a recent sighting of a Coypu in the River Lee. The animal was spotted from the footbridge behind the Kingsley within the past couple of weeks. 

The largest bony fish in the world, the ocean sunfish, has been found to occur in Irish waters year round and in much higher numbers than previously thought

Our 4^th-year undergraduate students produced videos as part of the BL4006 Food Production module.
