Julie graduated with a BA in Applied Psychology from University College Cork in 2015. She completed her Master in Public Health (2015/2016) in University College Cork, specialising in health promotion. Julie is working as part of the ESPRIT team, Evidence to Support Prevention Implementation and Translation, on Professor Patricia M. Kearney’s HRB Research Leader Award in Diabetes. The study, ‘Improving care for people with Diabetes: a population approach to prevention and control’, is ongoing with Julie focusing on an element of the research for her Master in Public Health thesis.
