Dr. Jie Chen
Biography
Jie Chen graduated with a doctoral degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, specializing in energy conservation for mobile system. Before RPI, she stayed in telecom manufacturers' R&D centers for several years as a software engineer, working on 4G network. She attained her master degree in telecom engineering from University College London and bachelor degree in electronic and informatic engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication. Before UCC, she worked in Qatar Foundation. Her current research is in the area of wireless mesh networks .
