Overview
A significant part of our role as a manager is to empower our colleagues to be the best they can be, as individuals and as part of a team. Hybrid work practices can present a number of challenges for managers. In this two-hour workshop, we will work through some of these challenges and learn ways to optimise the Hybrid Workplace.
Note: Participants to complete a free ‘behavioural’ style online survey before attending.
During the workshop, you will:
- Gain an understanding of your management style and who you are as a team lead
- Explore who has influenced you as a leader and who do you influence as a leader/manager
- Learn how to lead by example. Great leaders prove their commitment by setting the example and inspiring their teams to reach a common goal and vision for their team. This is critically important in a hybrid workplace
- Learn how to build trust with your team in a Hybrid workspace. Learn how to create feedback loops into management conversations
- Gain an understanding of the various biases that exist when working with teams in a Hybrid Workspace – Proximity Bias and Mindset Bias
- Understanding the Fixed and Agile mindsets and the role for each in a Team
- Understand the shift from Busy to Productive - mastering the concept of productivity in the Hybrid Workplace
