Overview
The goal of ‘Communication and Holding the Room’ is to clarify how to understand verbal,
non-verbal, and non-verbal non-physical communication by highlighting platforms of
communication, how to deliver a message, reading social cues, and how to hold a room.
Workshop Content
The workshop is designed around 3 crucial questions 1. “What is communication?”, 2. “What
are the steps when creating a message?”, and 3. “How to hold a room?”. By discussing and
answering these essential questions, this session will encourage the participants by
supporting the them in becoming critical and confident communicators.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:
- Identify different platforms of communication
- Understand how to structure a message
- Recognise social ques
- Communicate with others more confidently
