MANAGERS' INSIGHTS HUB

What is it?

The Managers’ Insights Hub is a monthly event for heads, managers, supervisors, and team leaders. Now in its second year, this initiative, based on feedback from senior staff aims to provide information on internal topics, share best practices, and foster discussion.

Each session lasting one hour, focuses on a relevant topic, facilitated by staff experts. Sessions will be a mix of in-person and online formats, providing a space to develop knowledge and understanding in areas key to your role as a Manager/Head, enable peer learning, and strengthen networks amongst senior staff in UCC.

Who is the target audience?

Heads, Managers, Team Leaders, Supervisors

How do I book my place?

All bookings are via ESS.  Each session will be open for booking a few weeks in advance.  Keep an eye out for an email from Staff Wellbeing & Development

WHAT IS HAPPENING & WHEN IN 2026/2027?

September 2026 - Managers need to be aware of the Anti Fraud and Corruption Policy and Response Procedure. Why?

It is important for managers to be aware of this policy and procedure as they

  • help you recognise what fraud and corruption can look like, and explain what to do if you have concerns;
  • set our your responsibilities as managers when it comes to preventing and addressing fraud, and corruption;
  • make clear UCC’s position on fraud and corruption and support a culture of honesty, integrity and professionalism, in line with our University values
