The Department of Law has established itself as one of the leading law schools in Ireland. It has a distinguished history over many decades in attracting high quality students and recruiting high quality staff nationally and internationally. Over its modern history, the Law Department has consistently pursued a policy of innovation and development. The Department operates with a complement of twenty-six full-time academic staff providing BCL, LLB, LLM and PhD programmes in addition to an evening BCL programme.
Applications are invited for up to three full-time permanent Lecturer posts. The successful candidates working under the direction of the Head of Department and Dean of the Faculty of Law, will be expected to contribute to all day and evening law programmes offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Applicants must hold a post-graduate qualification in law.The post holder will be expected to teach under the direction of the Head of Department, hold administrative roles, and be actively engaged in research. Salary Scale [new entrants]: € 33,895 - €55,061 p.a.
