FUAIM Spring 2024 Programme Announced
FUAIM Music at UCC is delighted to share with you the details of the brand-new Spring 2024 season of Friday lunchtime concerts, FUAIM Lectures, and events in the Departments of Theatre and Film & Screen Media.
The Friday lunchtime concert series begins on Friday 2nd February with a performance by the unique and exciting NoName Trio, featuring multi-instrumentalists Karl Nesbitt, Conor O'Sullivan and Jason Turk.
All concerts take place in the Aula Maxima this season and we hope you will join us for many of the wonderful concerts we have lined up. Our returning Spring regulars include The Dónal 'Doc' Gleeson Awards (8 Mar), two concerts by The Vanbrugh and their guests (9 Feb, 22 Mar), the hugely popular UCC Choir who will be joined this season by none other than singer-songwriter Paddy Casey (12 Apr), and the highly acclaimed musician and singer, Niamh Dunne, this year's UCC Traditional Artist in Residence 2024 (15 Mar).
We also welcome back Iranian classical santur player, Ramtin Nazarijou (5 Apr), and Cork guitarist Jerry Creedon (1 Mar) for two solo concerts, as well as the wonderful duo Áine O'Gorman & Victoria Keating (16 Feb). We are also very excited to present the contemporary Indian, klezmer and new world music ensemble, Rasa Nua (23 Feb), for the very first time on the FUAIM stage.
All concerts begin at 1:10pm, admission is free and all are welcome!

Hard copy of our brochure will be available from the end of next week - you can pick one up at our concerts or from the Visitors' Centre in the North Wing and select locations around campus.
