Xiao Mei leads this insightful seminar at UCC, focusing on innovative strategies in preserving traditional music in China. XIAO Mei is a professor at the musicology department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Director of Research Institute of Ritual Music in China, Director of Asian-European Music Research Center, Editor of Asian-European Music Research Journal, president of the Association for Traditional Music in China, and a member of the executive board of ICTM (2011-2019), Chair of China National Committee of ICTM (2019-2019).
