NewTREND Project kicks off in Glasgow, UK

The first plenary meeting of the NewTREND H2020 project, led by Integrated Environmental Solutions Ltd. is being held in Glasgow on 7 & 8 October. The project, which commenced in September, aims to develop an integrated design methodology for energy retrofit specified for use for individual buildings and at the district level, addressing all phases of the refurbishment process.

ENTRUST H2020 project commences

Today May 1st, sees the start of the ENTRUST H2020 project - Energy System Transition Through Stakeholder Activation, Education and Skills Development. This €3.48m project coordinated by Niall Dunphy, Director of the Cleaner Production Promotion Unit at UCC’s School of Engineering, aims to develop an in-depth understanding of energy-related human behaviour and practices, in the context of socio-demographic factors such as gender, age and social status.
